Gogle form

14th October, 2016

Good day Journal,

I am here today to share my experiences in EDET session number two. Today I learnt how to create a test using google docs/forms. You could say that google docs/forms is the equivalent of Microsoft word documents.
Google forms is a friendly way to create tests and other documents that is friendly to the trees. It eliminates the need for paper. Teachers can send tests to students through google drive and have them do the assessment online.
I created a science test in google forms entitled characteristics of living things.I also created the answer sheet for the test. Here is a link to the test

now that I know how to create documents and forms in google docs, I would like to know how to create spreadsheets in google docs. I had a few challenges creating the test, I spent a great portion of the time putting the test together and creating the answer sheet. Finding the right graphics to insert into the test also proved a bit tedious.
I will use google docs/forms in my classroom to create authentic assessment tools such as checklists and rubrics to assess children's learning. I can also be used as a revision tool in preparation for exams.
